Overview

Background

Too long test cycles and uncertain coverage of functionality result in many production defects and complexity in new customer rollout on ServiceNow. A project was initiated to introduce automation and innovation in quality assurance for ServiceNow based solution.

Objective

To improve time to market by enhancing verification and validation process of ServiceNow related functionality within ServiceNow upgrade lifecycle across various environments.

Scope

Develop and implement a design verification and validation process. Formulate test cases tailored for ITIL services, choose or design a test automation framework that aligns with the objectives, and automate test cases using the Selenium framework integrated with the ServiceNow-based solution.

Led a global team of 20 professionals addressing software quality challenges. Formulated the vision, strategy for Quality Assurance in software development. Acted as a liaison between a worldwide team of software engineers and stakeholders, overseeing, prioritizing, and approving deliverables necessary for automating verification and validation processes.
